Russian Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards by Svetlana Alexandrovna Touchkoff is a unique 25-card divination system rooted in authentic nineteenth-century Russian folk traditions. Each square card features four half-pictures that, when arranged in a five-by-five grid, align to form fifty complete symbolic images. The directional orientation of each completed match reveals nuanced insights into past, present, and future events, creating a dynamic geometric layout.
In my own personal practice, I reach for this set during broad readings that require a comprehensive overview of life events. The interactive, puzzle-like nature of connecting card edges turns divination into an engaging visual story. Rather than offering abstract archetypes, the traditional folk symbols highlight immediate circumstances, timing, and practical outcomes across everyday situations. Accompanied by a detailed guidebook explaining symbol directions, I find this deck to be a fascinating and remarkably precise fortune-telling tool.
